Why a Sedan?

Hi Welcome again…

I was looking for some facts to see why the sedans are the most sought after cars in India these days.

If you remember the Old Bollywood movies—all of them had those long body cars, that symbolized power and wealth. So basically, these cars have always had an aspirational value attached.

One of the first sedans that truly turned this Indian dream into reality was the “Maruti Esteem”. Launched in 1994, it broke all the selling records and emerged as the passion of all speedsters.

Now another sedan Swift Dzire, is being launched end of this month. But the question is “Will it be able to repeat the success of other maruti cars? Being launched in the same bracket as the Logan, Aveo and many others, will it be able to emerge a winner?” Let’s wait and see.
